Last year in February I drove from Vancouver to Mammoth Hot Springs at Yellowstone National Park. Again this year I made the same drive but instead of staying at the Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel I instead took a snow coach from Mammoth Hot Springs to Snow Lodge which is right beside Old Faithful.
I was part of the Winter in Wonderland package which is jointly offered by the hotel and Yellowstone Forever. I chose this package because it included cross country ski instructions (and all of the appropriate equipment plus also snowshoeing and other walking tours. The package also includes your tour guide and snow coach driver.
Everything about the Snow Lodge Hotel … staff/rooms/dining options/lounge was great and the trip excursions are well worth the cost. Below is a small selection of the photos I took during my trip. Ps. Some photos with Pentax K-3 digital camera and others with iPhone XsMax.
If you have never visited Yellowstone in the Winter I would highly recommend a trip … ps. I have reserved Winter Wolf Discovery Package for February 2020 … with accommodations in 2020 at the newly renovated Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel.
