On April 18, 2019 while on a driving trip from Las Vegas to Zion National Park I decided to take a side trip to the Valley of Fire State Park … a short distance off Interstate 15.
I entered the park from the West on Valley of Fire State Highway … then did a loop off the road followed by Mouses Tank Road up to the end of the road … returned to Valley of Fire State Highway heading east until I reached State Route 169 which ultimately took my back to Interstate 15.
This park is well worth visiting … open Sunrise to Sunset … Entrance Fees are $15.00 for non Nevada residents (who pay $10.00).

Lovely captures of the desert landscape. The red rock formations look incredible. I’ll have to add this to the list for the next time we’re in the area.
