Grand Canyon from the South Rim … the trail you see wondering up from the bottom of the photo is Bright Angel Trail. Midway in the photo at the treed area Bright Angel angles right down to the river while Plateau Point Trail continues up through the middle of the photo.
At Plateau Point you have magnificent views of the Colorado River below. On May 6, 2017 I did hike to Plateau Point.

Stunning capture. We visited the Grand Canyon in January and the Bright Angel Trail was covered in snow.
