On June 7, 2016 I was driving from Amarillo, Texas to Fort Sumner, New Mexico and then on to Flagstaff, Arizona.
While heading east towards Fort Sumner I saw a sign and thought a diversion from my route could be interesting.
A very short drive later I arrived at the Old Fort Sumner Cemetery … here are a few photos from that stop. A worthwhile interesting diversion!
