On my road trip in September 2012 I stayed two nights at The Olivier House Hotel in New Orleans.
Built as the personal home of Madame Olivier in 1839, the hotel now offers 42 unique guest rooms in the heart of the French Quarter. Located just one block from the center of Bourbon Street and within walking distance of all the food, history and culture that New Orleans has to offer.
The full history of the hotel can be found at https://olivierhouse.com/history/
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here … great room and staff plus easy walking distance to everywhere in the French Quarter.
Here are a few photos of my room and the hotel …

I would highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in New Orleans.
