Constructed in 1913 to replace an earlier courthouse that burned down in 1912 the Johnson County Courthouse was substantially restored in 2005.
Now houses the Johnson County Courthouse Museum.

Great post! The Johnson County Courthouse Museum seems like an interesting place to visit. I would love to know more about the restoration process in 2005. What steps were taken to restore it to its former glory?
