Harmony Borax Works in Death Valley. This “train” was hauled 165 miles from Death Valley to Mohave by a “20 Mule Team” … the loads weighed up to 36 tons including 1,200 gallons of drinking water. The rear wheels were 7 feet tall and the total length of the train including mules was than 100 feet!
